I am here for Friends

About Me

I like to call myself an actor, writer, and a director.Other people like to call me other things.I laugh a lot and love to sing. I love people - especially people who thrive on creativity. I've been fortunate to have met some incredible people - my real life friends.Take John Rubinstein, for example - you don't get more creative than that. Great guy. Great sense of humour and one of the best actors working today. Jim Micik - now, you might not know Jim, but he's very funny. Pete Iasillo - now there's a very funny guy. Check out his "myspace" site and you'll get the idea.I am a political animal and tend to argue with my brother a lot. He supports the current administration and I can't believe anyone could support the current administration.Michael has been my "roommate" for 12 years. I want to thank him for his understanding and tolerence - Especially when it comes to my obession with anmials.I am a graduate of the SUNY Albany and the UCLA MFA Acting Company (MFA - Acting). As an undergraduate at SUNY Albany, I created and directed the school’s first annual telethon, a tradition that continued for over 25 years. Those efforts placed me in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.I was given a golden opportunity to play Hamlet directed by Jarka Burian, a legend at Albany and world-renowned author and director. That rare opportunity was sweetened by the fact that I was coached by one of America’s most renowned acting teachers, BOBBY LEWIS. Bobby was dividing his university teaching assignments between Yale and SUNY Albany that semester. My Barbershop Credits include writing and directing, Wild, Wild Westchester, A Salute to the American Presidents, Chord of the Rings, Like the Ones We Used to Know: A Salute to the USO, Broadway Melodies, The Santa Diaries, Of Thee We Sing (in production)My quartet background includes singing lead with The Notewits" for five years. I'm working with four friends to see if Keystone will become an active quartet. While at UCLA, I performed main roles in After the Fall, America Hurrah, Jack, or the Submission, Marat/Sade.There followed a tour of Italy, France, Switzerland, and Greece with the American Repertory Theatre performing major roles in: Lysistrata, Trojan Women, Father Uxbridge Wants to Marry.Later, I appeared with the Los Angeles Civic Light Opera playing Adam in The Apple Tree on NBC.I was a founder and director of The New England Westchester (NEW) Group Theatre, the first group to produce out of the Emelin Theater in Mamaroneck.Working as assistant to the director for the Westchester Council for the Arts, I served as MC for the county’s annual showcase at Alice Tully Hall.In recent years I have divided my time between barbershopping and working with Yorktown Stage where I've appeared in The Sound of Music, Man of LaMancha, 1776, and How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying.Regional credits include the title role in Candide and Hysterium in A Funny Thing….Forum.

The General’s Report

So the general points to a glass half full. While the general should be honoured for his extraordinary service, his report is nor reassuring. We will reduce the forces to the "pre-surge" level. To imp...

Ann Coulter

So Ann doesn't think that the word "Faggot" is offensive to gays. Are there still people who think this woman is intelligent? Or is it just that she thinks most people aren't? For those of you who a...
