Monica Lawler, aka monimoosik, has been singing and performing in bands for many years. Monica is an extremely versatile singer and is experienced in singing a broad range of musical styles ranging from rock'n'roll, pop, funk and folk through to jazz.
Monica has performed regularly with bands in Perth, Sydney and London.
Monica is originally from Perth and now lives in Sydney. Monica lived in London for 2 years where she was lead singer for the band "Rhenium".
Monica has recorded some of her original songs in home studios with different producers.
Monica has had some of her songs played on 2SER radio station in Sydney. Track 2 on this site is a recording of Monica performing her song "You're Not With Me" live on 2SER radio station. Please be aware though that the recording is not the best due to some static.
Monica has also appreared in several movies as an extra. Most notably Monica was selected to be a Diner in the first "Matrix" film.
