PAST
At the age of 10 I started playing the classical guitar. I was classically trained and in my 3rd year I also picked up the piano. I was classically trained all the way up to the age of 18 and in the meantime got into heavy metal aswell. The first time I was ever introduced into electronic music was from my cousin. She told me she had this awesome program which makes music, called Re-Birth, by Propellerheads, now the famous Reason. I installed it on my pc and was intrigued at first site. I started to write some beats and was hooked. A couple of months later I was reading a magazine at a friends house and ironically it was a computer music magazine. The magazine had reviews on all these computer music programs and one program that caught my eye was Fruityloops. I wanted this program badly therefore I saved up to purchase this at 15.
I wrote electronic music on Fruityloops for about 3 years on and off and also in the progress decided I wanted to be a DJ. By the age of 16 I purchased a whole mobile DJ setup to do all my mates house parties. This money helped me save up for my small but growing studio.
I wrote music for another 3 years on and off, mainly hardtrance and also tried R&B and Hiphop because in high school I got into the genre and wrote rap tunes for friends. Three years later I decided I needed a more advanced program and got a copy of Reason 3 off a friend. I used this for about 7 months and present I am now onto Logic Pro 7.
PRESENT
At the moment I am using Logic Pro 7 and spending every penny on my home studio. I'm also preparing myself to trial for clubs around Melbourne as I believe there is room for my style of music choice.
I am mainly into Hardtrance and Hardstyle, but I am more focused on Hardtrance with a touch of Hardstyle. Currently I am posting monthly sets in my blog called HARDTRYLE. If you enjoy banging music, you will love HARDTRYLE.
Currently I am completing my 2nd year of my Bachelor of Design (Multimedia) at Swinburne. I have already completed and Advanced Diploma of Multimedia at NMIT Tafe. I really enjoy video editing, 3d modelling and website design, but this is the other area I am interested in but this will never be my dream job
FUTURE
I see myself hopefully in the not too far future having my tracks realease on vinyl. Hopefully DJ'ing at the biggest clubs around the world.
