Pastor Larry Donyeal Gooden is a motivational speaker, conference orator, seminar lecturer and a powerful preacher of the Gospel. He was born and raised in the projects of Mesa, Arizona, a neighborhood infested with crime and drugs, but through the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit he managed to escape the pressures of society and accept Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord at a very early age. During the course of his life, he was heavily involved in many ministries from the pew to the pulpit. He received a license to preach the gospel in June of 1997. After extensive ministerial training, he was later ordained in April of 2000. He has attended Phoenix Bible College/Seminary and now currently attending the University of Phoenix. God has definitely anointed this man to preach and teach the gospel in an unusual manner. Pastor Gooden is fueled by the passion to fulfill God's mandate for these tremulous times. A mandate for this specific hour to exemplify that God is still reachable and a strong relationship with him is obtainable. Through the various trials and tribulations of his life, God has literally allowed every test to be converted into a testimony. In a very transparent yet prolific way, Pastor Gooden has the ability to communicate the truths of God's word. His preaching and teaching is always goal oriented, to empower individuals spiritually, physically, mentally, and financially. He specializes in ministry development and educating leaders to lead extemporaneously while breaking cultural, social and economical barriers. Pastor Larry Gooden has a very strong background in Evangelism and Discipleship. In 1999, he led a team of people to the streets of Downtown Phoenix where the community was full of drugs, crime, poverty, and homelessness. Through his leadership the team was able to feed and clothe hundreds of people and over 1000 souls were saved in one year. Life changing messages delivered by this preacher such as the "Sovereignty of God" and the "Power of Unloading" has restored many believers and ignited their spiritual fire to serve with renewed passion and endurance. Pastor Gooden is currently in the early stages of authorship with a new book to be released in the very near future. Pastor Gooden has held and operated in many different positions in the church such as: Director of Evangelism/Discipleship and Associate Minister at the Progressive Baptist Church of Mesa, Arizona. In addition, he served as Chief Financial Officer, Director of Outreach and Executive Pastor of the Full Gospel Word and Worship Center of Mesa, Arizona. Over the years, he has conducted a variety of services including but not limited to: Worship Services, Baptismal Services, Weddings, Funerals, Conferences, and Seminars. In May of 2005 Pastor Gooden launched Larry Gooden Ministries as Chief Executive Officer in continuance of providing the above mentioned services in addition to starting a Mid-Week Worship Service in August of 2006. The Mid-Week Service has since grown which God has led the ministry to a new level. Pastor Gooden’s most recent endeavor is the birthing of Dominion World Ministries as founder and Senior Pastor. Pastor Larry Gooden is an anointed vessel committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.â€THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound.â€

You can not deal with issues by what you see (i.e. flower) you must confront issues by dealing with what you can not see. In order to properly be free, you have to deal with the underlying problem (i.e. root) in effort to successfully eliminate the fruit it bares. When you deal with fruit without digging up the root, the problem will temporarily go away, but sooner or later it will return. The book of Hebrews states: “Lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily beset youâ€. Notice how the author chronologically deals with deliverance: The weight (i.e. root) must go first in order to overcome the sin (i.e. fruit). Sin is not the ultimate issue; the root of sin is the problem. To be free, you have to dig it up by the root.God Bless
