About Me

My name is Gabe Harris. People call me "P.G." instead of having to say "Pastor Gabe" all the time. "P.G." could also stand for Party Guy, Pretty Good-Looking (work with me, people), and Pixie Gopher. Some folks replace the "P.G." with "Peej"... Not sure how I feel about that one. Okay, enough about me. My wife is my best friend on this earth, and we are going to make beautiful babies very soon. I'm also a Christian, but I'm not intimidated by those who believe differently. I think if people can't tell I love Jesus by watching my life, then I have failed. And just because I follow Jesus doesn't mean I never cry, break, or crawl. I do. But He sticks closer than a brother, and he's a sinner's best friend--which is good news for me. I dig music, the Jacksonville Jaguars, Call of Duty 4, Rainbow Six Vegas, Ghost Recon, good movies, and dates with my wife. Oh yeah, and plunging off Gotham City rooftops with my bat-like cape billowing behind me, in hot pursuit of The Joker. Myspace Layouts

My Interests

Weight lifting, naps, good movies, rainbows, music, crime-fighting, and reading about crimefighting.

I'd like to meet:

Jack Bauer, Mark Driscoll, John Bevere, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel, Keith Green, Sylvester Stallone, Christian Bale (to ask him what it was like playing me in "Batman Begins"). I'd also like to meet Heidi Klum and ask her for Seal's autograph.

Music:

You absolutely cannot peg me. I am the quintessential eclectic: Kari Jobe, CFN, Michael Gungor, Daniel Eric Groves, Jason Upton (my fave), Sean Callery, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, Fort Minor, Jay-Z, Eminem, OneRepublic (they rock), Coldplay, U2, Dave Matthews, most 80's rock, Imogen Heap, Snow Patrol, Mutemath, any and all jazz, Christmas music, Anberlin, and anything else BUT country. The only country song I like is "Cotton-Eyed Joe," and that's pretty old. Country sucks. That twang makes me want to chew tin foil.

Movies:

Batman Begins, the Lord of the Rings movies (Extended Editions of course), all 6 Rocky movies, Glory, the Bourne trilogy, and Anne of Green Gables.

Television:

24 (the greatest show on television), The Unit, Law and Order, Grey's Anatomy, Big Bang Theory, Heroes, Prison Break, The Office.

Books:

I like Mark Driscoll, Andrew Murray, Jim Collins, Batman comics, Reggie MacNeal, J.R. Tolkien, and lots of other authors I can't remember right now.

Heroes:

Jesus in Gethsemane, Mel Gibson, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Denzel Washington, David Garrard, and myself (when I'm in the Batmobile).
