Dr. Anthony B. Johnson is a modern day Apostle, sent to build and establish the Kingdom of God in the nations of the world. He has a powerful mandate to displace present power structures that exist in darkness with the powerful light and truth of the word of God. Dr. Johnson has traveled extensively in the United States and abroad, as he is a much sought after preacher, teacher, and lecturer.
In 1988, while serving in the United States Marine Corp. in Iwakuni, Japan, Dr. Johnson accepted the call to ministry. He was later ordained as a minister and subsequently as an Elder in the Church of God In Christ, Inc. His tenure in ministry has placed him as a humble servant under the leadership of several great men of God such as the late Bishop W.H. McDonald, Pastor Elvin Rhone, and Bishop Calvin Johnson. For the last 11 years, Dr. Johnson has served in the capacity of Assistant Pastor, helping leaders to build and establish their ministries. During that time, he has developed his unique Excel Ministry Institute (E.M.I.), a one-year training institute which constructs within its students the core requirements and apostolic principles for the five-fold ministry offices. The institute is a model based program, which can be implemented in other ministries as a ministry training tool. Currently, he is being called upon by various leaders to bring the institute to their churches to train their staffs and budding ministry gifts. He is developing a component to the institute for Apostles-In-Training (A.I.T.), to help recognize, train, and release Apostles to their God-ordained spheres of authority in the Kingdom of God.
Dr. Johnson places a high value on being foundationally and principally sound and having an education in the word of God. His ability to rightly divide the word of truth, came after much study and in 2003, he received a doctorate degree in Theology from Tabernacle Bible College, Tampa, FL. He is in the process of writing his first book.
Dr. Johnson, or Apostle Anthony as he is affectionately known, has a ministry that is replete with signs and wonders. From the blind receiving their sight all the way to the dead being raised twice, God attests supernaturally to his ascension into the Office of the Apostle and confirms the word he preaches with signs following. As a Prophet, he has a sharp and accurate word that pierces to the core of human hearts, and releases the destiny and purpose of God locked up within them. He also has a Prophetic Cabinet of prophets-in-training and seasoned prophets who minister alongside him in his itinerant ministry.
Dr. Johnson serves on an Apostolic council that provides covering and oversight to several churches in the Midwest region of the United States and in the Caribbean.
