About Me
I am currently a student attending the University of Phoenix and working towards a degree in Business Administration. I know you are probably thinking that by 35 I should have had my college degree completed long ago; and I guess to some extent I agree - but what can I say - I had a wild streak in me that couldn't be tamed back then. During my little journey I have acquired many passions and found life to be a GREAT ride - unexpected and full of treasure. My hope is to continue experiencing my passions through the wonderful people I meet and to share the excitement of this One Life we are all given.Now to the stuff that makes me - me. I am always going a million miles a minute. I have tremendous passion for the things I believe and the things I do. As a result I can come across as a bit of a brash jerk. I swear I'm really not; it's just that I get fired up easily. I am very patriotic and religious in that I have great faith, although not necessarily in organized religion. I support our troops and feel that until we can pick up a rifle and do what they do we have no right to criticize them; that being said, I do not like or believe in war.I really do love people, even though I often come across as a bit callous and cynical. I love my friends and my family, even though I don't always show it. I enjoy the simple things in life and am not very complicated in my desires. This is not to say I am a simple person rather that I am able to identify that which is important to me. There is a lot more that I could tell you, but where would the fun be in that...... however, I must add this, I don’t deal well with people who won’t think for themselves or embrace their ignorance. THINGS I LOVE: New York, Chicago, Dallas, cotton candy, art, push pops, movies, music, strawberries, being spontaneous, being random, bouncy balls, poetry, calm nights, laying under the stars, CUDDLING, kisses that mean everything, casserole, cheesecake of all sorts, pumpkin pie, cucumber-mellon lotion, beach, music, social events, MEN, pepperoni pizza rolls, starbucks coffee, meeting new people, warm fuzzies, Falling in love, A hot shower, Lying in bed listening to the rain outside, Hot towels fresh out of the dryer, A bubble bath, Giggling, Finding a 20 dollar bill in my coat pocket from last winter, Laughing at myself, Midnight phone calls that last for hours, Laughing for absolutely no reason at all, Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep, Holding hands with someone you care about, Watching the sunrise, Sweet dreams, Having someone play with your hair & playing with a new puppy.THINGS I DISLIKE: People who still write checks in grocery store lines, drama, ignorance, the boxers with a button hole... but no button, the fact that a package of hotdogs comes with eight hotdogs and the package of hotdog buns come in packs of 6, Mayonnaise, conceited people, people who think they are better than everyone, those who refuse to drive the posted speed limit or drive slowly in the passing lane... and stay there, and probably what I hate most of all – is having to tell someone I care for "Good-Bye".
