Dragon Klan in principio 2MC nasce nel 1999 in un piccolo paese siciliano della provincia di Caltanissetta, Niscemi (SOUTH SIDE) come gruppo indipendente. Per la crew portare una nuova cultura in un paesino prevalentemente ignorante sul panorama musicale HIPHOP è stato molto difficile, una lotta continua contro coloro che cercavano quotidianamente di mettere il bastone tra le ruote a questi ragazzi con la passione per la "Black Music". Questo nome Dragon è tratto dall'oroscopo cinese, che sta ad identificare una persona scrupolosa e tenace che non si ferma davanti a niente ed a nessuno. Da allora c'è stata una crescita di qualità sul campo "liriche e suoni" iniziando così i loro primi interventi nelle feste del paese, pub e locali vari, guadagnandosi una certa notorietà nella provincia, arrivando anche a rappare con i Flaminio Maphia per la "Sagra del Carciofo" nel 2005 tenutasi a Niscemi. I fondatori di questa crew sono stati DOOG DJ & GEKID, coinvolgendo durante gli anni altri ragazzi togliendoli dalla strada come CeCè, PIG-FLY, Toto-ONE e facendoli diventare dei veri e propri B-Boyz. La strada per questi b-boyz è ancora lunga dopo aver autoprodotto il primo album "racconti e scontri" nel 2004 la loro "Fotta" cresce sempre di più arrivando nel 2005 a produrre l'album "Strada Armata", nel 2006 l'album "Sopravvissuti" con una grande collaborazione di MC Can from Dulsseldorf (Germania). Nel 2007 il lavoro “SICILY” prodotto grazie al grande Francesco Panasci, direttore della Panastudio Productions di Palermo, a un grande successo anche grazie alla splendida voce di una grande collaborazione con la straordinaria FEDERICA LI PUMA finalista e vincitrice di molteplici concorsi e festival canori in tutta Italia. L'ultimo lavoro della DRAGON KLAN e la collaborazione con DJ PROVENZANO DI M2O di cui CeCè ha fatto l'intro della sua ultima compilation n°16 che è uscita con la rivista di m2o nel mese di ottobre 2007. Il 2008 è stato segnato da un tuor promozionale dell’album “SICILY” in tutta Italia con tappa in Sicilia, Sardegna, Lazio, Toscana, Emilia Romagna ecc. Nel Novembre 2008 “CeCè” è stato ospite alle sfide di breakdance organizzate nello studio della RAI di Torino nel programma TREBISONDA come ballerino di breakdance vincendo tutte le puntate. E nel Febbraio 2009 viene selezionato come ballerino dell’opera “PAGLIACCI” DI FRANCO ZEFFIRELLI presso il TEATRO DEL MAGGIO FIORENTINO. Ora la DRAGON KLAN è in studio per completare l’ultimo album dal nome “Colmare le tue lacune” pronto per l'estate 2009....... TO BE CONTINUED..
