I am 58 years old and am married to a wonderful woman Janet. I have 2 children Amanda and Kevin and 4 step-children Natalie, Jay and Michael & Marcus. I retired in September 2005 after 34 years as a fireman and paramedic. I retired as a Fire Chief. The whole family lives in the San Antonio, Tx. area. My favorite past time is my music as I am an avid guitar player. I have played in several bands during the 70's playing lead in bar rooms and dancehalls in Alaska. My main interests however are in 60's and 70's rock and roll. I have recently purchased recording studio equipment and plan to try my hand at writing and publishing my own music. I don't know how that will workout but we shall see. I started my son Jay on the guitar when he was 16 years old and he has become quite proficient at it over the years and has a band now of his own, you can see them at their myspace page .08satx. I was fortunate to go to the New Orleans Area following Katrina and work as a Paramedic with my son Kevin who is also a Paramedic. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity which I cherrish and will never forget. Kevin and I are seperated by 200+ miles and we would never have had that opportunity. I was deeply touched and affected by the terrible loss and devastation in that area. My greatest inspiration came from my friend Steve " Deacon " Hunter when I was in High School and used to watch him play in the bandhall practice rooms in the mornings before school. I always wanted to be like him. I don't think that will happen any day soon, but he still remains an inspiration to me and a friend.
