I'd like to meet:
I had a friend tell me that he believes that everyone you meet is potential family, and that you shouldn’t limit yourself by looking at other people as “strangersâ€. I fully agree. Everyone is a potential friend. We shouldn’t be scared to talk and interact with others. There’s no reason to be rude to someone you don’t know just because they’re a “strangerâ€. We’re all human beings; we each have our own viewpoints and ideas to share. Don’t shoot people down just because you don’t know them. If you don’t know someone, get to know them. Problem solved.
That being said, I have absolutely no interest in talking to someone who is going to preach to me, lie to me, or offer up hateful or stupid conversation. If you don't intend to like me for who I am, I have no interest in associating with you. I'm a pretty understanding person, and I love each person for who they are, but don't push your beliefs or insecurities onto me. I’m not going to live forever, and I really don’t have time or breath to waste on idiots or assholes. I also don’t have time for “friends†that are toxic or harmful to me. If I feel like you’re holding me back, being dishonest, using me, or are just dead weight, I’ll leave you behind. No questions asked. This goes for anyone; "friends", family, and cuddly little kittens. If you’re harmful for me, I want absolutely nothing to do with you. As long as you're honest, sincere, and caring, I'll probably like you.
Music:

Movies:
I'm a fan of indie films. Less advertising and product placement. I still like big movies though. Anything thought provoking is good. Any genre goes; horror, comedy, romance, drama, cartoons, whatever.
Television:
The world would be better off without it.
Books:
Again, anything that'll make me think. Romanace novels, not so much. But I'll pretty much read anything you throw in front of me. I find textbooks, or educational books in general, insanely riveting.
Heroes:
Anyone who is unconditionally honest. Anyone who wishes to improve the lives of others, their own lives, and the world in general.
