So, you heard about Hogwarts On AIM did you? Well, here is the place to learn all about it and join. Hogwarts on AIM is a fun chatroom-form of roleplaying in which people will create an AOL screenname for one of the Harry Potter characters and IM others as if he or she IS the character(Have fun with it. If you are playing a student from Beauxbatons of course you can make the kid have spelling mistakes)It might be better explained if you look above at some of the avatars, get it now? So, this is a little different from the myspace Hogwarts roleplaying in a sense that there is only one Remus Lupin or ONE Draco Malfoy.Now, I bet you're thinking But there is NO technology in the Wizarding world AND there can't be electronics at Hogwarts. Lily and Sarah, you guys are fucking retarded. Well, first of all TAKE A DEEP BREATH. Secondly, we decided that the Wizarding World now includes electronics in life and Hogwarts has changed a bit to letit work there. Don't like it? Then don't join or make any comments.
Okay, okay, ENOUGH, ENOUGH how do we claim a character, you ask? Well, first Take a gander down the student list, Characters with screennames beside them [in brackets like this] and which are bolded are taken, names with no screename are free.Names which are Italicized are on reserve [Normally we DO NOT reserve characters] Reservations hold up NO MORE than three days this is if you cannot think of an SN. [IM or mail an admin, she'll help you figure one out] Names which do not have a screenname beside them are free. All you must do is create a screenname at AIM.com, then mail this account or post a comment requesting to be that character, telling us the sn &&celebrity claim.Now, about avatar/celebrity claim, well darlings yes we do have it. We adore it, it is fun to have pictures you can send to one another.[say the fabulous daling playing Hermione doesn't want Hermione to look like Emma Watson, she can pick another person to be who Hermione looks like.In other words Lily [one of the founders of this RPclique] hates Emma Watson and wants Emmy Rossum to be the chick Granger looks like. EVEN THOUGH she has auburn hair. Deal with it, dudes!] You MUST, however, be active. I think that is all.But, oh yes. More students from Beauxbatons, Durmstrang, and The Salem Witches Institute! If you double as a muggle friend of Mione's or a kid from oen of the other Wizarding schools, that's OKAY. Example, a person playing Ron could double as Gabrielle's best friend or Hermione's friend from muggle school.
We're playing RIGHT after the end of the seventh book (NOT nineteen years later. I'm talking right after the war). If it's April 17th in our lives, it's April 17th in theirs.
