Go Sox, GO F****ING SOX!!......And so, THE JOURNEY IS AFOOT......Six months and counting! For those who don't know, things are quite different for me now in the City of Angels. After 9 years in the same flat, I've decided to pull up stakes and take to the city sans digs. Part homeless, part Henry Miller, part moron, part Kerouac, part guest room surfer. (42 DIFFERENT BEDS/COUCHES/HAMMOCKS/FLOORS/AIR-MATTRESSES AT THIS WRITING!) There's a delightful sense of discovery felt when travelling, so why not just travel all year thru. That "Home is where you hang your hat" idea is making quite a bit of sense these days. Somehow, I've become a pretty active pet/house-sitter, and am rarely at home, so when I'm not taking care of someone's dogs/kitties/home/plants/turtles/what-have-you, I'll be getting by with a little help from my friends. Lemme know if you're going out of town. There should be a book in this somewhere. Certainly, there'll be a slew of new tunes, (though so far they're slow-coming). I wonder how long I can pull this off. So far it's been gloriously liberating. I'm thrilled. I'm horrified. And I'm thrilled to be horrified......I'm on the path. Aren't we all, though? On The Way.
