Elizabeth Mae Faulkner was born on July 7, 1988. She passed away on October 7, 2006."MOUNT GILEAD - An 18-year-old rural Mount Gilead woman was killed early Saturday in a two-car crash in Cannan Township in Morrow County.Dead is Elizabeth M. Faulkner, of Morrow County Road 109, according to the State Highway Patrol.Troopers said Faulkner was a passenger in a 1992 Nissan Sentra driven east on County Road 27 by Douglas A. Bryan Jr., 18, of Elmcrest Drive, Mount Gilead.A 2004 Pontiac GTO driven by Chad D. Layne, 32, of Ohio 19, Mount Gilead, was northbound on County Road 28 and failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into the passenger side of Bryan’s car, troopers said.Faulkner was pronounced dead at the scene by the Morrow County coroner, the patrol said. Layne and Bryan were treated for minor injuries at Morrow Community Hospital.The patrol said alcohol was a factor in the crash and Layne was incarcerated in the Morrow County jail"Beth was such an amazing person.
