About Me

I'm clean and sober and trudging the road of happy destiny. I'm here to meet new friends and enjoy that fellowship. I love dogs! My favorites are puppy kisses and babies breath! I'm sorta, kinda an interesting person :)Above all I'm kind and respectful, honest and loyal. I think most people are good in their hearts and only few are truly evil. I'm also pissy and agravating at times. I'm a realist. I am not one to be your best friend or your enemy...I know there is a gray area with everybody and I am likely to piss you off at times and be the one that makes life a blast at others. I respect most others for who they are...I embrace that. But I will not tolerate flagrant lack of respect and disregard for others. I will rise to be the spokesperson for the underdog if I need to. I have no problem listening to the different drummer.What bugs me most are people who think they're better then the rest. I mean some ego is healthy but if you, me (me and the rest of the world)let beat you to a pulp and allow 'them' to make you feel like you don't matter it's just not good to me. Ego is healthy...overinflated ego serves no real harmonious purpose.I like to be silly and serious-sometimes within the same moment!I am sometimes hard to understand as far as cyber space goes. In 3D people know me fully because I am open and geniune and understand that I am a decent person with quirks like everybody else.

My Interests

People. Love to watch people, talk to people, listen to people, learn about different perspectives. People give me energy.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet Sally Fields, Tom Hanks. My heros that I haven't met yet...

Music:

I love John Mayer, James Blunt, Josh Kelley, Lilly Allen, John Legend, alot of country...so many oldies that I couldn't begin to list. Like Jazz and some blues. Don't like heavy metal nor really hard rock, goth...whatever kids call it that is a bunch of yelling cause they don't have a good voice.

Movies:

I just saw Juno...what an excellent, intelligent movie-funny and real. Shawshank Redemption, Dead Man Walking. Grease. Juno is my new love...what a great movie!

Television:

CSI-crime shows. Some game shows. Dancing with the Stars-love dancing. American Idol. Medium-cause I relate on some level to intuitive thoughts. Dog Whisperer because I firmly believe in the spiritual connection between human and animal.

Books:

True Crime. Read the entire T C Andrews series...Heaven and so forth. Books of redemption and renewal. The AA Big Book. And although I haven't read the entire Bible through and through I believe in the spiritual teachings of it.

Heroes:

I've met and come to know some of them...but heros are made everyday...I'd like to continue to meet them. A hero, to me, is someone that knows the odds aren't so good but does what's right anyway. Ghandi, my mom, my dad and my daughters. I respect alot more people but they aren't necessarily my heros. My heros are people that have made a difference in my life not just a difference in others.
