Biography:
Growing up in his native country Israel, Eran Hersh began singing at a very young age, cementing a foundation which was to launch his passion for music. Influenced by: “Michael Jackson”, “The Art of Noise”, and other 80’s music, Eran began spinning records at the legendary “Sheri” club in Rishon Le Zion, Israel, at age 15. Over the next 3 years he played at some of the most exclusive clubs in Israel, including: 'TLV' & 'Zoom' (Tel-Aviv).
In the summer of 2001 Eran moved to New York City. During that summer, he played at several private parties held by some prestigious Israeli friends. Those energetic parties attracted the attention of club promoters from the infamous clubs that immediately invited him to play. This move was the beginning of his international DJ career.
In 2003 Eran moved to Miami and since then he has been rocking the local dance music scene, proclaiming his mantra: “No Music, No Life”. Eran is working his way through the industry, gaining residencies at some of the most well-known and respected dance music venues in Miami Beach such as: Mansion, Nocturnal, Amika, Gryphon, Passion, Karu & Y Lounge, to name a few. Eran also shared the decks with some of the world’s most famous DJ’s: Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y., and Timo Mass, Austin Leeds, Infected Mushroom, Yahel, and Skazi. His highlight point came when he won the “Battle of the DJ’s” contest in South Florida. This was a turning point in his career which earned him a DJ set at “Winter Music Conference” (WMC) on March 25th, 2006 on stage at 'Ultra Music Festival. Eran has been on the Ultra Music Festival ticket ever since.
Today, Eran holds a weekly residency at Living Room ( Fort Lauderdale ), where he plays his trademark sounds and rocks the house. He is also spending most of his time in the studio producing fresh new records along with his “partner in crime”, Darmon. The duo “Hersh & Darmon” have already signed their tracks,"Starting The Day ", "Never Forget", "You Know What", and SAW” to SouthSide Recordings. They also have recently released the remix for Cato K called, “Feel Better”, on Ultra Records, and are currently working on some new projects. With his fine tuned ears and incredible gifted talent for music, Eran is quickly becoming a well sought after DJ and producer. He is loyal to his fans, as well as himself, and with so much to offer, this multi-talented DJ is just waiting to be exposed. There will definitely be more to come in the future from DJ Eran Hersh.
