I am here for Friends

About Me

Image hosting Images from personal photography, taken in Vienna in 2006.
It may seem like the last hour, but somewhere in the world, it is dawn. - PGDP Midnight Crew
Je suis australienne, mais je parle le français, l'allemagne, le tcheque, la chinois ... me parlez, s'il vous plait!
I like listening to music, which for the most part is why I'm here. The other part is 'cause some of my friends are here! That's about all, really. The blog might give more insights into the way I see the world and the things that I do, but I just like meeting plenty of new people and travelling the world (especially to really obscure places with fabulous architecture, hidden enclaves, and stunning scenery).
Life is a myriad of starts to me; fresh starts, new starts. Time and again a slate is wiped clean for beginnings, explorations, journeys, and sometimes those slates are merely left behind as reminders, of a sort, of what was. Should I ever look back. Far too often, I do.
Yet there is a time and a place for looking forward, and moving forward, and for being; as to whether or not I'm there? Still moving.
In the meantime there is espresso coffee, great friends, gorgeous scenery and the joy of learning.
What else would you like to know?

BBC link on missing correspondent Alan Johnston

I'd add my thoughts on supporting press freedoms and those who risk their lives in search of the truth, but really, their work speaks for themselves.

Conversations with past selves--response to an old 'blog' post.

With the phenomena of blogging comes, occasionally, the accusations that those that run or maintain 'webjournals aren't quite reaching the pinnacles of 'journalism', that the records of what we write ...

So if a blogger screams in a crowded cyberspace, do they still make a sound?

It's actually been such a long time that I've been so heavily involved in a project like this--maybe Clan Destiny, 54321hurrah, the newsletter/collective projects, or other random lark could compare--...
