I am Ms. Black Georgia, USA 2008! I am very excited about being crowned, Queen! I also walked away with awards for, Most Photogenic, Best Panal Interview, and People's Choice! God is Good! Thank you to all my friends and family for without your love and support along the way, I couldn't have done it.As I begin my reign, I aspire to make a difference in the world impacting "at risk youth" in Georgia by exemplifying courage, determination, and the power of possibility that lies within us all. Being Ms. Black Georgia is an honor I will use judiciously to represent the state gracefully and with purpose. I look forward to working with a variety of associations and organizations such as, Hands On Atlanta, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, Atlanta Children's Center, YMCA, and group homes on projects that are in alignment with my intentions to serve and inspire.The communication, organization and presentation skills I use daily in my career as a Sales Manager at the Georgia World Congress Center, will be instrumental in bringing awareness to the issues facing our youth, and will contribute to the facilitation and implementation of creative ideas for change. Currently the results I generate brings business to the City of Atlanta, which has an economic impact on multiple businesses, the city and the state. I know the skills that I apply in my career, combined with my passion for life will expand as I embrace the role of Ms. Black Georgia, USA. My effect will be powerful and productive.
