Fans of The Hunger! Come to my Book Signings!!
HERES WHAT FANS OF THE HUNGER HAVE TO SAY:
"I became so enthralled that I killed it off in one final sit, which really amazed me because horror has never really been my genre!
The silent evolution of hate and distrust between Brian and Bloom that all led up to [Spoiler]... was totally fuckin' awesome... I'm grinning ear to ear just thinking about it. I mean [THE HUNGER] did an excellent, excellent job of building the characters... Almost [Neil] Gaiman-esque with how well I want to hate and love certian characters. I loved it!
[THE HUNGER IS] the Titskaboodle and if you don't read you're not going to deserve a gun when the zompacolypse comes.Seriously though, this is an awesome book that had me completely sucked in.
I watched Planet Terror a few days before reading this... and I can honestly say THE HUNGER would have made a much much better movie."
-Sean Messmer, MFjohnny
"I have been into the "zombie" genre for some time now and this is the first time that I have ever read anything pertaining to the subject that made me wish that the invasion was actually happening.
Never before have I read a book that was so cinematic. Every page will make you say "Please make this into a movie!". Not only can you picture the action as it happens, you honestly care about the characters and want them to survive (or die in some cases).
If you have ever been into any facet of the zombie saga, you will LOVE this book. It is a perfect mix of action, plot, and of course, gore. Imagine if George A. Romero had penned a novel based on 28 Days Later and Resident Evil. The Hunger provides this type of ferocity and dread.
Do yourself a favor and find a nice Saturday night where there is a thunderstorm rumbling in the distance, turn the lights down low, light some candles, and read this book cover to cover. I guarantee you won't want to put it down until the conclusion. And just remember, it's only a story...for now."
-Kameron Sawtelle : Zombie connoisseur
"[The Hunger] is a great book! I had nightmares for weeks and still get scared in the dark!" ~Brittany Holdefer, Newton, IA
"I was pissed off man! I didn't want it to end. I need a copy of this on my bookshelf."
-Chris Wells, Badass.
