Kate Lauren

Kate Lauren plays in Switzerland with her guitar and piano, bringing to life her emotive, melancholic music.

Born in the United States, this half-Italian, half-Irish songstress grew up on the shores of the Great Lakes, where she took up the piano and singing by ear at the age of 4.

Kate's musical career started while she was still in university, when she took an internship at a leading commercial music house in Detroit. There, Kate was involved in the composition of music for television commercials and spots during the day, while, at night, she performed acoustically in coffeehouses and bars.

In Switzerland, Kate Lauren has performed at the Casino Theater Winterthur, the Theater Hechtplatz, Atlantis, Haberhuus and was televised on NW1 last fall.
