There’s been a lot of talk about the music coming out of Dublin in the past few years. People talk about new sounds, new gadgets and new gimmicks but very few talk about quality.
Sons Of Now make no qualms about the music they play. Guitars, bass, drums and vocals all add up to simple, straight forward, no bullshit rock and roll.
They are not part of any â€scene†or “movement†because they don’t need others to tell them how great they are. They know it themselves.
They do not follow what they think people want to hear. They play to be the biggest and loudest rock and roll band and fuck you if you don’t love them.

PRESS:
Death Via Satellite:
SONS OF NOW are one of the city's most exciting bands, creating a sound that swaggers and can't help but get any room moving. Their 1990's Primal Scream/Stone Roses style is given a thoroughly modern makeover with an effortlessly cool sound that is… pure Sons Of Now.
Underground Sounds:
I've been serving as the music director at the college station here in St. Augustine, as well as hosting my own show (myspace.com/djjakebrown)..and these are some songs I'm stoked on.
Sons of Now / Dublin, Ireland myspace.com/sonsofnow recommended track: "sell your soul" These guys hit me up on myspace to check out their tunes...I love this song, straight-up dark rock and roll..........
Frequency Ireland:
It's simple straight forward no bullshit rock n'roll, and as it should be.....
Described before as having the devil-possessed poise of The White Stripes, Sons Of Now push out Dirty Money with a driving riff and a sneer from the gutter at the exposed to which The Cramps would have been proud of, baring all the that was infectious about punk inspired rock........
The Pop League
SONS OF NOW (Dublin, Ireland) This band has the guts and melodies to take them far. "LOCKDOWN" is a perfect example of a retro blues beat rocker that wins thru strong vocals and performance. Gotta see these guys live for best results, I would suspect. The boys from Dublin are creating an exciting new 'now'.
