Leprechaun Water

About Me

Keeping the Celtic vibe alive.
Leprechaun Water was conceived by three family members having a few beers one night, listening to Irish folk music after returning from a trip to Ireland.
Heavily influenced by The Bothy Band, Kevin Burke, Tommy Peoples, Martin Hayes and the Great Chieftains, and more recently by the outstanding Lunasa. Ex Heavy Metal guitarist, Paddy spontaneously decided to purchase a fiddle.............More ale was consumed as he taught himself to play it, and somehow two other family members joined.........Jay his Brother on guitar and Viv their Dad, Born in Wexford Ireland on Bodhran and other percussion, friend Sean Bay later joined us on fiddle.
Now over two years on we gig as much as we can with great success, we are available for bookings, festivals, weddings etc. etc. message us for more details. We are now "Global Village" Artists, part of monochromemuseum.co.uk "Global Village" Internet radio show, check them out they go out of there way to promote unsigned acts all they ask of you is some support in return............
Our new self released CD, Traditional Irish Jigs And Reels, is now for sale at CD Baby and itunes, you will be disappointed if you expect to hear "The Wild Rover" or such like so called Irish songs, we strictly only play Traditional Instrumental "Old" Irish Music, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.
Leprechaun Water.
From time to time we like to use our page for the promotion of others, this time it is The Great Lunasa with Morning Nightcap, enjoy.
