WHAT IS STAND UP MOVEMENT?:
The STAND UP MOVEMENT is a group of individuals striving to unite the local music scene and create a market that people will notice. Based in Pittsburgh, our network reaches western/ central PA, eastern OH, and northern WV. We're here to start a local buzz that'll eventually form a national sensation.. STAND UP is open to working with anyone interested in becoming involved. So if you're serious about your music career, then we'll listen!
There's alot of potential in the local market.. this is obvious to many people inside AND outside the city. But without the cooperation of each other, the market can't grow. That's where STAND UP steps in! We hope to create a network of individuals with the same visions in mind.. Instead of trying to tackle the area by yourself, join the movement and do it as a team.
Another major goal of STAND UP is to become an important role in the community. STAND UP has major plans for 2007 such as assisting with programs that will benefit the youth, organizing non-profit events to unite the area, as well as taking part in volunteer work around the community. This is open to anyone interested in helping out STAND UP and each other - if interested, please contact us so we can provide more details about future projects and programs.
