...one highly idiosyncratic mess of awkwardness

About Me

I want to travel the world. I'm a vegetarian. I've found a love for urban cycling and ride my bike, Giu, everywhere. I also love to jog because it helps to clear my mind. I've recently decided that if I had to choose a traditional 4 year BA again I'd probably study Environmental Science possibly Anthropology or maybe even Photojournalism. I am nearly blind without my glasses. I drool on my pillow when intoxicated. My four basic food groups; Chocolate, Cheese, Coffee and Wine. Here's a great recipe that combines ALL of the together!!!! http://www.cookingforengineers.com/recipe/60/The-Classic-Tir amisu-original-recipe PUT YOUR ABOUT ME SECTION HERE! My Interests

This Week:

I dabble in so many things! Creative arts are what move me, I guess you could say. I have been developing my eye lately in film and photography. I enjoy all sorts of art whether its a traditional museum or the latest digital art installation at MOMA. Since moving to Berkeley I've developed a love for spoken-word poetry and hit up Slam Night at The Starry Plough weekly. I want to travel the world. I'm a vegetarian. I am nearly blind without my glasses. I drool on my pillow when intoxicated. My favorite color is green.

I wake in the a.m. and blast my newest iPod mix, headphones on whenever I leave the house, home from school I spin my newest dusty LP or make a mix on the turntables, I never miss a Thursday radio show by Gilles Peterson on Radio One, I subsribe to 47 podcasts, I could say more but y'all know...
I pledge allegiance to no band, nor genre. A certain piece of music will mean more to me at one time then another. My music tastes are always expanding and ever changing. Like many others, music is my passion.

Books:

Every man has reminiscences which he would not tell to everyone but only his friends. He has other matters in his mind which he would not reveal even to his friends, but only to himself, and that in secret. But there are other things which a man is afraid to tell even to himself, and every decent man has a number of such things stored away in his mind. ~Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Heroes:

Without even a thought, my hero is most without a doubt my grandmother. Her wisdom, guidence and strength will forever keep me going. I owe my life to her. My Mother as well. Her strength and endurance amazes me. Other than that doesn't America have enough heroes already?
