Haven House Foundation provides short term respite care, and hospice care, for children aged 0 – 19 years who have a life-limiting or life-threatening condition; we also provide practical and emotional support for their families throughout North and East London, West Essex and East Hertfordshire.The services we provide are completely free of charge. As we receive no statutory funding for our services, we rely totally on the support of the local community - businesses individuals and community groups – as well as grant making Trusts and Foundations, to raise the £1.3m we need each year. As part of our fundraising we run a number of different events, and for many of these we need volunteers to help us.
