Having grown up listening to the likes of Marvin Gaye,Bill Withers, Lionel Richie, Bob Marley, Sparrow and Stevie Wonder to name but a few, C-SAR'S musical influence run deep.C-SAR'S love for music was strengthened through education of his older brothers listening to all the jams from Bel Biv devoe, SWV, Blackstreet to Wrex-n-effect and even ol'skool jungle M beat & prodigy. At 15 one of C-SAR's greatest inspirations and influences his older Brother Dee-Action one day decided to purchase a pair of "front room" style cd decks.(After many grafting hours saving money from ASDA payroll!) Limited to a house "seperate" type cd player with nothing other than a pitch and play controls on the front, C-SAR's curiousity as to how dj's blended 2 tunes led him to teach himself the fundamentals of mixing. At the age of 16 C-SAR was given his first set of Belt driven soundlab decks from UKG master Tess Press Hess. He moved to Bristol in 2004 to begin studying a degree in Creative Music Technology. As soon as C-SAR touched down in Bristol he crossed paths with a talented young musician/songwriter by the name of JAY WILCOX. Immediately their love for music brought them together to begin taking Bristol by storm.Shortly after his arrival C-SAR began playing at some of Bristol's hot spots alongside good friend & Bristol's renowned MC Juice and soon established himself as one of the most booked and favourite Dj's within the city. His unique diverse style stemming across R&B, Hip-hop, Soul, Rare-groove, bashment, garage, jungle and funky house captivated many within the city.
