The Colliders

About Me

In the begining...
Wrought from the ashes of perennial festival favourites, Breeze, The Colliders have begged, borrowed and stolen time from various tedious 'life' committments to create some fine songs over the last two years. Listen to them; we're not as cool as Jack Penate but there you go...

Hopes for 2009:

Recording
To record more of our live set including...
- Loner
- Shoebox
- A distant someone (electric)
- Eucatastrophe
Well on the way to the album

Gigs Gigs Gigs
We've been out there a lot more in 2008 and looking to be out there even more in 2009. Started making contact with other bands and have made lots more friends.

New Material
Constantly writing new songs, and hope to produce our best work this year
(doesn't everyone!). Watch this space..

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Simon Moore (guitar / vocals)
Gareth Wright (sexy guitar!)
Alex Davis (bass)
Dave Hyland (revolving drum-cage)
Influences: 'Bends' era Radiohead, Pixies, Jeff Buckley. I believe our singer owns at least one Coldplay album but I'm damned if I'm going to put them down as an influence.
Sounds Like: Maybe Feeder - not sure.
Record Label: Unsigned
