About Me

Drop-jawed. That’s how every guitar (and music in general) lover will become as soon as they listen to this cd. As if the presence of three of the greatest guitar players in Brazil isn't enough, also included are songs whose maturity is terrific. Leading off, "Psycho Cocks" has sufficient force to throw you against the wall, and there're quite a few blazing riffs poured out by those three guys, making one wonder what would happen if Steve Morse played for Pantera. Then, "Z3" oozes a "road" groove, perfect listening for driving.
I could go on and on about each one of these tracks: the super-elaborate arrangements of "Tritone", "Cruz" and "What’s Up" (all of them with a swing worthy of twisting hips), the experimentalism in stereo counterpoint of "Morning Shine" (which is absolutely brilliant!), the furious heaviness of "Perverted Cereal Killer", the oriental introspection of "Prayer (of a Sinner)" stuffed with sitars and tablas and the cinematographic atmosphere of "Rising"...but I’m going to do something better: stop spending your dough on crap, get yourself a decent set of headphones, and go cop this album. Otherwise, the possibility of you being elected "moron of the year" will increase substantially.
