About Me

I'm a very kind, honest, laid back, hard-working person. Although I'm a little shy at first, I'm very affectionate with my friends and family. I'm very romantic and also rather sentimental. I love being a nurse and can't imagine ever doing anything else. I believe it's what God put me on this earth for. I love the outdoors, and the mountains are my favorite place to be. My interests include horseback riding, hiking, camping, fishing, boating, and riding motorcycles. I never pretend to be something I'm not. I'm the same at home as I am at work or at church. What you see is what you get.

My Interests

Motorcycles, horses, hiking, camping, fishing, and boating. Love the great outdoors! I went white water rafting for the first time last year. It was awesome!

I'd like to meet:

New friends and old. People who share my interests.

Music:

Just about anything except rap or hip hop, but country and bluegrass are my favorites. I also like southern gospel and rock.

Movies:

Westerns are my favorite, but I enjoy a wide variety of film genres -- with the exception of scary, gory movies. I'm a nurse, so I don't mind seeing blood, but I can't stand the violence.

Television:

I love to watch reruns of Gunsmoke! Law & Order and CSI are pretty interesting, too, but I'm more likely to be listening to music than watching tv.

Books:

I like to curl up with a good book on a rainy day. Max Lucado is my favorite Christian author, and of course I like to read the Bible. I also love a good romance now and then. Louis Lamour is also a favorite.

Heroes:

John Wayne, of course... Also my grandfather. His halo might have been a bit tarnished but I thought he hung the moon. And it should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway -- my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
