Old & new friends & 64-color boxes → if you're not at least a little eccentric I likely don't care to meet you

Life is like a box of crayons. Most people are the 8-color boxes, but what you're really looking for are the 64-color boxes with the sharpeners on the back. I fancy myself to be a 64-color box, though I've got a few missing. It's ok though, because I've got some more vibrant colors like periwinkle at my disposal. I have a bit of a problem though in that I can only meet the 8-color boxes. Does anyone else have that problem? I mean there are so many different colors of life, of feeling, of articulation.. so when I meet someone who's an 8-color type.. I'm like, "hey girl, magenta!" and she's like, "oh, you mean purple!" and she goes off on her purple thing, and I'm like, "no - I want magenta!'"

I don't think I could tell you all of my faves...because either there would be a VERY long list that nobody would even read, just so I wouldnt leave anyone out...or I would need to change who I list basically everyday because I would keep changing my mind as to who is the BEST. I like music from ALL genres...yes ALL. I dont think that music's quality can be judged by its genre...it all depends on the singer and the song itself. I can tell you that I love the music that my friends make...cough check out my top 8 cough

I like things that teach me something, and I can't think of one book I read that didn't do just that so they all rock. I like the books that can take you out of this world for the duration of the reading time, and make you feel as if you were in the story yourself. Some good books for that, are books I read when I was younger, The Rootceller, The Giver, Matilda and The Chronicles of Narnia. Some other ones that arent from my childhood, are The Flowers in the Attic series, Witch Child and Go Ask Alice. They are all fairly simple reads, but they are great. You should also check out The Rose That Grew From Concrete by Tupac Shakur. Right now I am reading "Elvis" by Albert Goldman...it was on my mom's bookshelf so I punk'd it with me to T.O. lol. I am hoping next(upon reccomendation from many Trebas teachers lol) to read "Hitmen" by Fredric Dannen.
