Hogdoggn is a unique blend of music, madness, emotion, and humor simulataneously exploding from the mind of Heath Patrick. Hogdoggn has no recipe. Hogdoggn simply is. Depending which night you make it out to see the one man band perform, you may hear influences as broad as bluegrass, death metal, dat dirty dirty hiphop, reggae, traditional, rockabilly, newwave, electronic soul blues all taking shape within a few tracks. But what is great about Mr. Patrick is the fact the he has the rare talent to not only pick and choose through a large catalog of sounds, but to make the music distinctlly his own. From tales of knifefights in song in spanish, to exploring the legend of the Sasquatch, to cooking up sweet delights in the kitchen with a lover and wife, Hogdoggn comes across equally well on tape or in person.
