About Me
The concept of Foot Klan was created by a man called "POUND" in the early '90s. Pound took groups of rappers and dancers in Arizona and put them together to get them out of the street life and into entertainment. After a few years successful productions, Pound became stricken with cancer. Master Darryl Khalid Sr. worked with Pound using homeopathic methods for many months. Eventually the cancer overcame pound and he passed. Pound's last words to Darryl Khalid Jr. were Dont Let the dream die here. Promise to keep this goin....." Everyday for the past 15 years that promise has been kept. Foot Klan practices Monday through Thursday from 10pm to 12am.During the years we have grown and learned that Hip Hop is more than just a culture as so many put it, But it's also a Responsibility. To our youth, our families, and most of all the pioneers who created the outlet for human expression.

Foot Klan is honored to join with Kool Herc, the Pioneers, and Sedgwick & Cedar, with whom we share the same belief that Hip Hop really is come as you are. Ray Riccio, Founder and CEO of Sedgwick & Cedar, adds, Our alliance with Foot Klan demonstrates that we are committed to paying respect to the entire Hip Hop culture representing not only the early DJs, MCs and Graffiti Writers but B-boys and B-girls around the world. DJ Kool Herc actually coined the term B-boy back in 1973.
