Consisting of three composers, Bob Sushko, Ted Dailey and Tony Sokol.Tony Sokol has been a consistent presence on the late-night circuit of New York theater since 1992. He created and wrote 13 plays for La Commedia del Sangue: The Vampyr Theater, which Michael Musto praised in the Daily News as "Every bit as weird as it sounds, horror/comedy scribe Tony Sokol presents eerie rituals with conviction, unabashedly lacing the vampires' ruthless survival tactics with more of a raw sexuality than the misty romanticism they're usually diluted by ... with its toothsome mix of horror and black comedy, it hardly lacks for bite." And which Joan Rivers called "very funny." Vampyr Theatre was the number one strange thing in New York City on UPN's Strange Universe. (Although it seems a dark coincidence that Michael Musto no longer contributes to the Daily News, Joan Rivers no longer hosts the television show in which she referred to Vampyr Theater and Strange Universe has been cancelled.) Writing about Vampyr Theatre, the reasonably unscathed New York Times said "this is why you live in New York." Tony Sokol also wrote the plays Death Takes a Valium, How to Skip Alimony Through Voluntary Manslaughter and Everybody ODs. He has written songs and incidental music for five films and over twenty stage productions. He has appeared on the Joan Rivers (TV) Show, Strange Universe, WNEW-FM, WBAI-FM, WABC-AM, WFUV-FM, WFMU-FM, BBC-Television and Radio, Britain's "The Girlie Show," and over a dozen Manhattan Public Access TV Shows.Passion's Slave - it was a theme to a show that had an odd history.and this one has some vampyr theatre footage - and it was played as an outro theme - so it does actually count as a vampyr theatre theme. This is an ad we did for some public access shows - That's Shaunte Shayde with Tony Sokol. This is just me - done recently - there are clips from the silent french film series Vampyres from the twenties, so it kind of fits here.
