Salvatore has grown up in front of audiences from an enthusiastic young performer to a mature, sophisticated all round entertainer from M.C work in the Corporate & Wedding Arena or performing to a live audience in his Cabaret Show via festivals to lead roles in Film and Television.

His career began at an early age of 9 when he was "discovered" singing at an Italian festival in Sydney. "John St Peter" had pulled him out of the audience to participate in his closing performance. Salvatore's natural ability radiated and was asked to meet John's Management back stage upon completion of the show.

Salvatore was encouraged to learn the technique of singing and playing the guitar under the guidance of trained Professionals in order to pursue a career.

After several years of tuition and participating in various Eisteddfods; Salvatore sought to broaden his knowledge and joined a talent school "Gala Artist". It is here where Salvatore was trained in Singing, Dance and Acting. As part of his training Salvatore participated with the "Gala Artist" show group the "Keane Kids" where he began performing at various functions and festivals as a backing and solo artist.

Since his early years with Australian Theatre for Young People and very first role on the ABC television series "G.P" under the direction of Peter Andrikidis, Salvatore was hit with the acting bug and has developed into Australia's foremost actors and entertainer's a true all round performer. Salvatore's acting career began in 1991 by appearing in several television series. He guest starred in the acclaimed mini-series "Brides of Christ" and the second series of "Police Rescue".

Well known for his role as the witty wise guy, schoolyard entrepreneur Con Bordino in the successful television series "Heartbreak High" Salvatore made his Italian parents proud with his first full-time acting job. Becoming part of the Heartbreak family for over two years, Salvatore was then cast as Joseph Cardillo the new rookie in the fifth and final series of "Police Rescue". His character was a spontaneous, energetic and charming cop that wanted recognition on the squad.

During this time Salvatore teamed up with long time friend Mario Gamma and formed "F.B.I" (Full Blooded Italians). This partnership was targeted to the youth of the Italian community. "F.B.I" toured the west coast of Australia featuring in many of the Italian weddings and festivals within New South Wales, Queensland and Melbourne. "F.B.I" was featured at the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Italian Immigration at the passenger terminal Circular Quay, in Sydney which was an honor for Salvatore. This landmark was where his parents disembarked upon arrival to Australia as Italian immigrates in 1959.

In 2001 and 2002 Salvatore was closely involved with the "Australia Day Council". His passionate views on Australian Cultural Values were heard by many, which led him to be elected as an Ambassador. This year Salvatore hosted the Holroyd City Council Australia Day Concert at Merrylands Park. The festival was an opportunity to positively engage the community and increase community moral, perception and pride through its leisure and creative activities. The festival featured fine arts performances which included music, dance and theatre. The community enjoyed free rides, a fireworks display and a closing ceremony performance from singer Christine Anu.

This diverse and versatile performer has also starred in numerous other high profile series such as Hal McElroy's "Water Rats" and Gannon/Jenkin's "Wild side". His feature film credits prior to his lead role as the well-meaning if deluded Joey Grasso in Shirley Barrett's "Walk the Talk" an Australian comedy, set on the Queensland Gold Coast that focuses on the character Joey Grasso, a wide-eyed optimistic talent agent fuelled entirely by self-help manuals. Included are roles in Melina Marchetta's outstanding "Looking for Alibrandi", Dein Perry's "Bootmen" and Gregor Jordon's award winning "Two Hands".

The 2006 World premiere of "the New Life" was featured at the Fano International Film Festival, Italy and received an Honorable Mention. The success of "the New Life" in 2006 resonated throughout the world bringing the short film to new heights in 2007. Distinctions received worldwide are as follows ;

2007
"Scream Queen Award" / A Night of Horror
"Remi Award" / World Fest Houston, United States
"BEST Film Award" / Cryptshow Festival, Spain
"BEST Horror Short" / Illinois International Film Festival

Daniel Giambruno's "the New Life" is a supernatural story triggered by Dante Alighieri's "La Vita Nuova" albeit not an adaptation of said work. It is in fact a brief tale about guilt and delusion, which also offers a very different perspective on demonic possession.

In addition, Chris Burnham's feature film "Almost" entails Producer Rocky Maldini and Director Zack Masters being the Kings of Rock Video. Armed with the biggest budget in Australian film history, they set out to make the ultimate genre-busting movie: an Action-slash-Adventure-slash-Rock Opera called Heavy Metal. As Rocky puts it, "this film revolves around eight huge action sequences with car chases, boat chases, a helicopter chase, fight scenes, massive explosions, a Rock & Roll concert, lots of shots of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Ground breaking!! But as all filmmakers would know, things don't always go according to plan."
