About The Author
Emoni Haydes began writing her first novel at
the age of seventeen… Unfortunately she hated it and
buried it deep under her bed, where only monsters and
dust bunnies will have the misfortune of reading it.
Luckily her second novel, Quest for Solitude,
was more to her liking; therefore she allowed its
printing and publication. Now at the age of twenty-two
she is working on the second two installments of the
Curse of the Naquadi series.
She lives with her family on the abandoned
pirate island of Scarlet Liar, off the coast of California. When she isn't working on her upcoming novels she spends her days searching for buried treasure and reading from The Journals of Shipwreck Shon & Evil Eye Gry.
Sadly, Emoni's dreadful fear of sea monsters
prevents her from ever leaving Scarlet Liar. Those with
an adventurous spirit are always welcome to visit
Scarlet Liar, provided that they can find the one map
revealing its exact location. This map can be found
locked tightly in a wooden chest and buried under the
coffin of Winston Estonstire in the Scarlet Liar
