CRASHING AT DAWN
Rapture is a rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, formed in 2006. The band is comprised of Shawn Josephson (drums, backing vocals), Tyla Ward (lead & backing vocals), Karl Cannon (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) and Franz Hoff (lead and rhythm guitar, backing vocals).Rapture writes and records rock songs, some near the center of mainstream, some on the harder side of mainstream. The band is developing songs influenced by a range of experience and intellectual observation. They started writing about the sometimes conflicted influences people have on each other, and have moved on to explore deeper social issues, including the alienation caused by our media-driven consumerist society, and the pain of social and childhood disenfranchisement.
