BliSs....How do you explain somthing that has never been? BliSs is a gift to the music industry. She brings the element of music that has been lost for so long " PASSION". For a young girl born and raised in Charlotte N.C with a guitar player for a father and a operaetic singer for a mother music genetically runs through her veins! She is the 4TH of five children and the younges girl. She started singing in a gospel band ("SCHENCK") w/her brothers and sister at the young age of 10,it was then that she realized that this would become her obession. By the age of 17 she had shared the stage with artist like Destiny's Child,Avant, Mint Condition, Beverly,Kc & jO jO,Triniti 5:7,DC talk and Jhon P. kEE. (to name a few). After Recording 3 albums and playing to audience by the thousands the family trio"SCHENCK" broke up. For 3 years she stepped away from the stage (but not away from music) and nurtured other parts of her self. During that time she discoverd a love for writing and acting. She went and attended NorthWest school of the arts where she studied as a vocal major and a theather minor. Soon the studio and stage began to call for her and she answered. She went back into the industry not only as an artist but also as a writer. Under the magement of her father she began to go into the studio with other artist and platinum selling producers.In 2002 she linked up with the Heatmizer "2002 Degrees Productions" (Beyonce,xscape,Men of Standard) with him she wrote and produced a record but due to a flawed contract with labels it was never released.In 2005 she relocated to Los Angeles CA w/her writing partner and Big Sis to pursue Production. It wasn't until early 2006 that she emerged on to the L.A music scene. In feb of 2006 her and her sister started a production company "BiaZo Production" The home of Platinum Penz (there writing team).
Very quickly they found themselves writing for artist like Kelly Rowland,JoJo
Beyonce, Keisha Cole and Ray J. During this time she felt a compulsion to record her own album to release what had been in her for so long. Although her heart is for live band R&B/Rock with a funk undertone she decieded to record her first Solo Album Entitled "SERENADE" (R&B//HIP-HOP VIBE). this Album is Praise & Worship to the love of her life "JESUS CHRIST"!! She was compelled to allow what was in her to come out. IT's not Conventional but it's Needed!!!So look out for what's comming because when this LP drops it's dropping hard.
