Kent Johnson Burnside (Lead Guitar & Vocals), with Jacob Best (Drums), and Emmet Butts (bass guitar) along with many others who sit in and help out (Gabe Meyers, Rich Wilcox, Ray Snyder, Dan Burnside and Gary Burnside). Kent has toured and supported his grandfather R.L. Burnside (Fat Possum Records) and many other greats, such as Buddy Guy, North Mississippi Allstars, Jimbo Mathus and Junior Kimbrough just to name a few. Following in R.L.'s tradition, Kent Burnside and The New Generation are always on the road playing shows and promoting Kent's c.d.'s, "Cotton Field Disco", "Country Boy, City Dreams", and Kent's newest c.d. "Evil". A true revue of The Mississippi Hill Country and its music, from the porch to the stage. Kent is taking juke joint music to a whole new level.
