Egoist, opinionated, optimistic, competitive, subversive, Humanist , libertine, ECONOMIC VEGAN .
An economic vegetarian/vegan is a person who does not eat meat, and or dairy products, from either the philosophical viewpoint that the consumption of meat is expensive, environmentally damaging, or part of a sustainable and simple lifestyle that seeks to preserve resources and cut down on world hunger. Economic vegetarians/vegans believe that nutrition can be acquired more efficiently and at a lower price through vegetables, grains, etc., rather than from meat. They argue that a vegetarian/vegan diet is rich in vitamins, dietary fiber, and complex carbohydrates, and carries with it fewer risks (such as heart disease, obesity, and bacterial infection) than animal flesh. Consequently, they consider the production of meat economically unsound due to the conditions created on the commodities indecies when corporations purchasing grain to feed animals are competing against aid relief organizations like Unicef, the UN World Food Program, and Care to feed the hungry worldwide.
We know and understand that diet is the root cause of disease in this country and currently kills more Americans every day then anything else. Heart disease, high cholesterol, and cancer have been related to eating animal products.
Warning: I'm really not interested in getting to know anyone on MySpace unless (and only in a special case) they live in my area and we can somehow benefit from knowing each other in THE REAL WORLD. Other than that, I'm not interested in getting to know anyone on here and I don't have time for mindless internet flirting. (*This means you Ann) An unavoidable loophole exists as noted in section 1, paragraph 2, subsection 1.
"Take a deep look into that soul you put on every day; one patchwork pant leg at a time; and tell me where you're going to stand at the end. On the side of progress or opress?"--yeah, that was me who said that; and no you can't use it.
