Sepper8 started Dj'ing in 1998, hip-hop and house were then his playground. He discovered drum 'n' bass via the Inside-nights in Brussels. There he saw Total Science & Bassline Smith, and he immediately got addicted to this energetic form of dance music.At that time, he spinned solo and was busy looking for some people who had more or less the same vision on drum and bass as he had. Via internet he got in contact with Nojzz. They were both studying in Ghent and became close friends, so logically Sepper8 joined his Bassculture project. Parallel the bookings started coming in. After some time they got contacted by Whizz, and this very skilled DJ joined the little club. The current Bassculture-sound still matches what he had in mind at the start. That has always meant and still means a lot to him.He started producing 4 years ago and he's nowadays surrounded by Stan, Nojzz, and Whizz, so that can't go wrong. His style can be described as 'rolling dubfunk'. Most of his respect goes out to Soul:R, Signature, Critical, Bassbin and Hospital.
