PLEASE NOTE, I GET LOADS OF MESSAGES AND WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE TIME TO REPLY TO THEM ALL, BUT SADLY WORK KEEPS ME VERY BUSY. THANKS FOR TAKING THE TIME TO MESSAGE ME.
I have been entertaining people for as long as I can remember. I've always loved singing/acting and performing for others.
My career took off in the early 90’s when Andrew Lloyd Webber selected me to play Joseph in his production of 'Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' at the London Palladium, a role I've gone back to more than 8 times now! Since then I've been in countless West End and touring musicals including Joseph, Grease, Summer Holiday and Great Expectations.
I also had great fun and some generous reviews as Frank’n’Furter in the cult musical ‘The Rocky Horror Show’ and as the lead role in the stage play ‘Alfie’, a character made famous in the film of the same name by one of my favourite actors, Michael Caine.
I love doing TV and over the years I've hosted TV series, appeared as a guest on countless shows, done a couple of celebrity reality shows (definitely challenging experiences with the jungle and a pair of scissors in hand!) and also starred in my first film Hellbreeder.
X Factor judge and celebrated producer Simon Cowell and I have also made a couple of records including a top ten single that I got to perform on 'Top of the Pops'.
I'm delighted to say that I'll be back in panto this year in a role that is definitely mine (if you believe the tabloids that is). I'll be playing my first panto baddy - King Rat in Dick Whittington at The Lowry in Salford. There are also plenty of projects on the slow burner for 2008 including a national tour of the hit musical Hello Dolly to look forward to and I'll keep you updated as and when.
