The Pendant Club is a small, intimate venue based in Loughborough and run every Thursday (ish). This most authentic of live venues is rapidly growing a reputation as a place good bands can be found in. The atmosphere is laid back and easy going - all we want is to have a good time, listen to some good music and hopefully see the future live on stage!
The Pendant does not run a pay to play policy. Although we send flyers to the bands to give out we do not consider it a negative if they bring no-one (there are no penalties, black lists or bad attitudes!) - the only thing we want is good bands who play good music well, the principle being, the more people enjoy what they hear and see, the more often they'll come
back and bring others with them. This gives the bands a ready made audience and the ability to spread their message a little further.
Loughborough has a large student population and is sandwiched neatly between Leicester and Nottingham.
The main railway station is a few hundred yards from the club and therefore makes for an easily accessible venue.
Entrance is £2 with a flyer or £3 without.
