Athanatos è un progetto nato a metà del 2006 da un'idea di Angel "voce" , Furcas "Batteria"e N1ghtm4r3 "Basso" dopo una breve ricerca Cat "Chitarra e seconda voce"è entrato nella line-up,per completare la line-up attuale si è duvuto attendere l'inizio del 2007 quando Karkaroth "Tastiere" si è aggregato alla band.Diverse influenze danno origine ai pezzi che la band propone,influenze che vanno dal Goth'n roll,al Metal,all'elettronica.
