Saxophone Player Drew Stansall grew up in Leicester UK
He has played and recorded with ska legends:
Laurel Aitken, Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan, Owen Gray, Prince Buster, Rico Rodriguez and Dave Barker.
Over the years Drew has appeared with bands such as London Trad ska band Freetown, Ska-Boom and the Splitters which produced albums and singles not to mention many tours throughout the UK and Europe.
Drew has been at the fore-front of the recently revived old skool ska scene including many resident performances at the prestigious London venue ‘Club Ska’.
Currently the founder member of 'El Pussy Cat ', Drew also plays and records with Ska-amanga and RnR band Daddy longlegs.
El pussycats are a 6 piece 'old school, authentic, ska, swing, blue beat' outfit
in the famous Jamaican dance hall style of the 50's. The band come from Leicester
UK. All band members have been involved in ska or jazz for many years and collectively
have thousands of gigs under their belts with their
