MyGen
Profile GeneratorThe band started sometime in mid 2005.The main founders of the band were Sean-M. Mamo (drums) and Claudio Toscano (Bass). There were also a couple of other members who weren't stable in the band. Not long after, Matt A.Manche' joined the band, (meaning that the line-up then was, Claudio Toscano (Bass), Sean-M. Mamo (Drums), Matt A.Manche'(Guitars) and they immediately started working on original songs. The main idea was to have a raw sound, with heavy riffing, thrash beats; they wanted their songs to have punch. But there was one problem, no vocalist. After auditioning different vocalists the band felt David Casingena’s style of vocals would suit the band. So he was chosen to be the bands front man.Their first gig was with Slit (Local Hardcore Metal band) and Kalvarium (Local Thrash Metal band) on the 12th of November 2005 at Signals (this was only a few months after the bands first band practice). From the gig the band got positive feedback and that helped them move forward with a little bit more confidence. After their second gig with Happy Face (French Grind band), Slit and Knockturn Alley (Local Metalcore band) the band decided that they wanted to add another guitarist to the line-up. The band needed someone who was preferably into the same style of metal they were into and someone who could give a good contribution to the band. So the band asked Vinny Taylor to join, and they quickly had their second guitarist. At this point the band was ready to take it to another level and experiment more since they now had two guitarists and that gives them options when writing songs. They had their third gig with Loathe (Local Hardcore band) and Knockturn Alley, which was their first gig with Vinny. They played songs from their usual set-list, the band got good feedback once again and were now ready to spend as much time as they needed to write a whole new set-list.The band started to change style, still keeping that raw sound but also started to add a bit more melody to their songs. The band felt that they needed to challenge themselves, so they added a bit more technicality in their songs as well. By this time, the band had decided that they needed a change in vocals and to broaden their horizons, resulting in Cliff Falzon (aka Bunny) who took David’s place as the band’s vocalist and front man. With Cliff as the band’s new vocalist, they could write more technical and slightly more melodic songs, resulting in more feel and reason to their music. The band continued on to write a whole new set-list, which included better instrumental work and more vocal diversity. They hope to continue creating music that will please the people, and in turn satisfy them, as their main objective is to let the people enjoy themselves!!
