Looking to fill 2 positions. Compensation: 20% of sales plus bonus and incentives.

Your Greek News is seeking an experienced sales professional to secure advertisers for a combination of television and web ads.

Leveraging a digital specialty channel aimed at the Greek-Canadian population as well as an international web-portal for Greek Diaspora news, this individual should have the ability to speak Greek fluently, as well as an understanding of time-based advertising sales in the broadcast industry and a desire to break new ground in web-ad sales in an ethnically specialized market.

Job Description:

•Sell media advertising B2B •The successful candidate will communicate with head office on a regular basis to ensure that sales efforts are in line with corporate activities •Review account lists on a monthly basis, with more frequent reviews performed on an as-needed basis •Provide a daily/weekly call sheets indicating what accounts are being worked on •Establish a quality, long term sales approach with clients

Qualifications:

•A self-starter who can take direction. Must have excellent sales abilities, capable of handling objections and be a passionate closer •Must be enthusiastic, charismatic, exhibit a strong corporate image and command attention. •Will be capable of handling large clients, and closing large deals •Must be organized, show attention to detail and have excellent communication skills •Ability to watch the market and ensure our rates are competitive •Ability to create and meet weekly sales goals
