After wearing the blue and orange at Syracuse University many years ago as a football player, I'm excited to wear them again as the Lions of AMHS start their inaugural athletic season in 2005. I have spent twenty years at Auburn High School working as a physical education teacher, head football coach, JV baseball coach, assistant golf coach and PE Department Chair. Prior to coming to the Auburn School District I coached football at the college level, served as a head baseball coach, assistant basketball coach, assistant gymnastics coach and as a head and assistant track coach at high schools in Idaho and Washington. In my spare time I built our home, played a little golf and worked for a college athletics recruiting service. Now, when I have free time, I like to spend it with our three daughters and our five grandchildren. My wife Cheryl and I enjoy watching sporting events, seeing a good movie, reading a good book, quiet walks together and our hot tub. We are both very excited about the opportunity to be part of the new Auburn Mountainview High School.
