Phil Ceberano’s motto in his musical life is “Rock is it’s own rewardâ€. He started his career playing in pubs and clubs around Melbourne in the mid 80s and established an outstanding reputation in his own right as a guitarist and entertainer. As well as his position as bandleader, lead guitarist and creative partner for sister Kate Ceberano, Phil has formed and led some of Melbourne and Sydney's best-loved party bands, including Sexual Chocolate, Professor Groove & the Booty Affair, The Glam Jam Superband and the legendary Arnie Deltoids Muscle Beach Party.
In 2002 he formed his own original band, TRENTWOOD, a power rock trio. And has played over 300 gigs across Australia in the last 4 years, including the release of ‘AudioTunes’ in 2004, through Phil’s own label PACT RECORDS. TRENTWOOD has consistently received rave reviews for its live performances around the country (e.g. "…an absolutely sensational show…" RIP IT UP Magazine), building a loyal brigade of fans who are turned on by the band's combination of rock, melody, harmonies and humor. In the midst of all this activity, Phil has been the featured artist at some of Australia’s more memorable VIP/Celebrity events in recent years, including the Australian premiere party of the Kubrick film Eyes Wide Shut and VIP/Celebrity parties for Australian Fashion Week, Cleo Magazine and the Australian Open Summer Sessions.
Phil’s passion is music, he is the consummate showman. Whether it is rocking out in a pub with his original band TRENTWOOD (his first love) or grooving at a corporate event with his party bands, Phil is driven by putting on a great show.
Given his other commitments, Phil makes himself available for only a selected few corporate events each year. Those who are able to secure his services can attest to the impact his performance has had on their evening.
