Hi, I'm Dave; worship leader, multi-instrumentalist, and producer in the NYC Metro area.After graduating Princeton High, (being somewhat confused about what to do musically), I somewhat nervously went to college at I.U. in Bloomington Indiana as a piano performance major. I soon realized that 6 hours in a room by myself was not for me, and eventually switched to jazz studies, followed by a 2-year cruise ship job playing bass in Hawaii. I then moved back to N.J. to finish my degree in jazz studies at William Paterson University as a bass player. After that I played in and around NYC a lot playing jazz and rock gigs, and after an intense experience with Christ, began serving weekly at my local church. The rest is history.Over the past 20 years, I've had the honor to share the stage or studio with Rufus Reid, Benny Golson, Michael and Randy Brecker, Jon Werking, Harry Miller, Richie Havens, Pete Seger, Spiraling, Nick Jonas, Greg Federico, BD Lenz, HelenaMaria, Alexis Cole, Josh Dion, the Trenton Symphony, the American Boychoir, the Smithsonian Chamber Players, author/speaker, Ellie Lofaro, pastors Bill Hybels, and Rick Warren. I've played on over 30 CD’s singing or playing drums, upright and electric bass, violin, vocals, guitar, and dulcimer, and have been heard on Jazz88 (WBGO), TBN, QVC, Star99, FOX, and ABC.I love making music to the best of my abilities, and want to "leverage" the multi-instrument skill-set toward the production of world-class, God-honoring music and art. As a worship pastor, I'm intentionally using the musical/pastoral combo to urge people to consider from whom the gifts come, and get into honing them with the best motives possible.>..
