So, here's a new profile. It's not about Russel Simmons, Emmanuel Lewis, or about those cute Hanson girls. Its about me and my hero.
I first met him when I was younger. He would stop by the the house in the mornings. I remember my eyes would have some sand in the corners and I sported a nice bed-head look. Back then we would watch T.V. together before I had to go to school, or watch cartoons all Saturday until it was safe to go outside and play "manhunt" or "where's that wierd kid". I fondly remember going to the store where there would be others who tried to win over my affection, but upon deliberation he was the one.
We sort of lost touch during high school when I enjoyed sleeping too much and was too preocupied with being a teenager and going to late-night diners. Surprisingly enough we became re-acquaninted during my college days when he would visit late at night or show up for an unexpected lunch. We would laugh and squint. And squint and laugh. And maybe we'd squint and laugh some more. And it was a really good time. Really it was. And from time to time I still reflect on the sweet sweet times we had.
This is why Captain Crunch will alway have a place in my heart.
