RIP Grandpa McCoy
The one of the few I trusted
1932-2008
This guy was the person I looked forward to see when I would come visit in Chicago. When I would first see him I would give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, It was routine. Wow I had some great times with him. When I would be sitting out on the sitting swing at my grandparents house, I would be sitting listening to my ipod and he would come out and sit with me. Then we would talk about when he was younger, he would talk about how he was a cheerleader, soo he could get the ladies, and how he hated his stepmother, and how he did morris code in the war, and how he met my grandma. I always loved hearing his stories, he made them soo funny. I really respected him. I remember he yelled at me once. I must of said something he didnt like , and he gave it to me & of course I ran away and cryed. But I knew he didnt hate me for it. But there was the funny times, when we went up to Luck, Wisconsin and we were at Bone Lake, and he told me the fish were going to bite me , and of course I believed him. He was such a funny guy. Im glad I had him in my life and Im glad I had these memories with him. I wish I could have more but he wasnt doing so good, but Im glad he's in a better place, and in no pain. He lived a great life. I bet he is playing golf right now. Damn he was a great person. Theres soo many other things i could talk about, I could probably write a book about it. But I will miss him alot. Remember , take advantage of the time you have with people, it will come back to you.
